Lum Fun Lee

Piano, North American Coordinator for Trinity College London – Lum Fun Lee received the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in piano pedagogy and the Licentiate of Trinity College of Music (LTCL) in piano performance. In 2008, she became a Fellow of Trinity College London (FTCL) in Piano Accompanying, the highest award conferred by Trinity College London. Ms. Lee studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore under Julio Esteban. At Peabody, she minored in organ and harpsichord. She played the viola in the Peabody Preparatory orchestra and the violin with the Penang Philharmonic orchestra. She holds a degree (graduated cum laude) in piano performance from Towson University and studied under Reynaldo Reyes. At Towson University, she won first prize in the Mozart piano concerto competition and also won the Talent award. In 2007 she was appointed the North American National Coordinator for Trinity College London, an international examinations board in music, drama & speech and ESOL. Ms. Lee is the director of the Summer Music Institute, a faculty at Maryland Performing Arts Institute (formerly known as Towson University Music Preparatory) since 1985. She also has a busy private piano studio. Her students have received numerous awards from Trinity College London’s examinations programs. She is the choir director at Forest Park Community Church.
