Juliana Marin - graduated from Towson University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. At Towson University she was able to perform the role of Alison in Gustav Holst’s, The Wandering Scholar, as well as Pamina in Mozart’s, The Magic Flute. Most recently, Juliana had her Peabody Stage debut playing Clorinda in the Opera Department’s Opera Potpourri. She has performed as the title role in Puccini’s, Suor Angelica with the Little Patuxent Opera Institute of Howard Community College. In 2005, Juliana was the student winner of the Baltimore Music Club Competition. While at Towson University she received the Music Department talent award in 2006 as was the first-place winner of the Dr. Sydney Lieberman Music Competition in 2007. She has been awarded a Peabody Career Development Grant. In the summer of 2008, she had the pleasure of music directing Jason Robert Brown’s, Parade with the Wildwood Summer Theatre, a youth-run theatre company in Bethesda, MD. She sings locally as a soprano soloist for Roland Park Presbyterian Church.
